You CAN Have A Head-Turning Slim Figure. 

When I was a young kid I read all the comic books I could get my hands on. On the inside back cover, were ads by Charles Atlas. It told the story of this skinny kid with his girl at the beach and this bully who kicked sand in the face of the skinny kid. 

This meant nothing to me at 12 years old. At age 16 when girls suddenly became beautiful this story talked to me.  There were no gyms in my neighborhood and I had no bank card to make a mail purchase. So I went to Sears and bought a set of weights. In a few months I was beach buff. No bully would throw sand in my face. Such was my introduction to fitness.

 

In high school I wanted to join the Air Force. Because I had a heart murmur as a child, the Air Force and the other arm forces rejected me. My dreams and hopes were totally destroyed. I was devastated. I settled for college in search of an alternate career. 

Fitness became a hobby.

When I graduated college my first real job was analyzing experimental data for an huge engineering company.  That’s not exactly a fun job but it had it’s prestige and perks. Fitness was put on the back burner. And so my life went.

Five years later a New York friend of mine moves to California and invites me to her retail store. She was having fun and making lots of money. A month later I was a business owner and was having fun and making money too. I had free time so I returned to college. I met this beautiful lady, got married, had kids and enjoyed a wonderful life. 

 

With some extra time on my hands I got interested in fitness as a second career and became a certified trainer. 


One day I walk into this small gym. It was not a typical box gym. It was owned by a runner who trained athletes. On his staff were 3 Chiropractors and 2 physical therapists. And I found my second love ... a different kind of fitness, a fitness that works fantastically well. I was happy and felt purposeful. What more can a person ask for? 

 

Four years ago, my wife got seriously sick and I retired to take care of her. To keep her from losing weight I fed her ice cream. And I helped her eat it. She didn’t lose any weight but I gained 30 pounds. She died last year and I find myself bored to no end. I’d join the air force but they still don’t take people with a history of heart murmurs.

 

Therefore I decided to return to fitness training. I’ve lost half the weight I put on during my wife’s illness and I’ll lose the rest this year.  At 74 years old my blood pressure, blood flow and blood chemistry are that of a 30 year old athlete. My reflexes are superb.  I take no meds whatsoever and can play handball with hearty young men for hours. My reflexes are strong and my mind is crystal clear. I do very well!  I Want to Share My Success With You.  


When you fly on an airplane the flight attendant tells you to take care of yourself first in an emergency, so you can take care of your children. This is true in life also. You must take care of yourself first so you can help others. You really matter to the rest of us.

Aerobics/Cardio ...


Most people are taught the wrong way of doing cardio. They spend endless hours on a treadmill or bike and get little results. Let me make this simple, if you're not breathing hard and your heart rate isn't elevated you didn’t do cardio. With me you’ll do your cardio and strength simultaneously. 


Consequently in a 1 hour workout you’ll get 1 hour of cardio and 45 to 50 minutes of strength training. Whoa ... that’s a two for one. This is the end of endless cardio. The goal is to get stronger sooner.  Your Endurance Will Definitely Improve! 

 

Strength Training ...


We focus on your fast twitch muscles. These are tight, strong muscles that increase your speed and reaction time. Many Newbies and those who’ve received poor results in the past will see remarkable gains, in muscle size and strength, their first week. 

·    Women will be impressed that their new strength came from very feminine muscles.

·    Men with growth hormones will notice measurable muscle growth. 

·    The elderly often notice their driving is better and every day chores are much easier.

·    If you reached a plateau in your training, this will get you to a new higher level. 


Healthy Eating ...


The problem with diets is that when you falter, you seek another diet. We get around that by making your favorite meals heathy. Let’s say your favorite meals are pancakes, pizza, omelets and hamburgers. 


We modify your recipes so you maximize your nutrition and minimize your calories. Eliminate sugars and add salads to your menu and you’ll be eating a whole lot healthier. This is not the “perfect diet” but it’s one you can keep for years without stressing out over your diet. You can use it to lose weight or stay trim and fit

Losing Weight ...


For those who are very overweight and are seeking a weight loss diet, we have an eating plan that can reduce your weight 5 to 20 pounds per month. You will get a list of foods you can eat, and how to cheat one day weekly and still lose weight. Each meal is rich in fiber, protein and nutrients, and low in calories. No counting calories, No portion control, No weighing foods. You can eat 2, 3, 4 or 5 times a day.  Once you reach a healthy weight you can do the Healthy Eating plan.  You can go from one eating plan to the other, as you see appropriate.  

1. Is the Action Fitness Routine good for women? 

 

Definitely YES! Women do not become muscle bound. Their muscles get tight, strong and remain very attractive. 

 

2. If I recently had an injury can I do the Action Fitness Routine?

 

Yes. I have forms for your doctor or therapist to fill out.  Generally speaking, this routine will not put you in a position to hurt yourself. You can make the routine go around any injury. You get to gradually include recuperating body parts into your workout.

  

3. Can I do this together with my body building routine?

 

Yes! The Action Fitness routine is commonly used to break plateaus. Otherwise it’s not usual for body builders to use it.

 

4. How much additional cardio do I need to do with the Action Fitness routine?

 

None. The resistance training produces a cardio benefit simultaneously. You will be breathing hard while doing the routine. Your heart and lungs will be engaged throughout.

 

5. Will this help me in sports?

 

Yes! Sports also require things like eye-body coordination, change of direction drills and explosive exercises. This routine helps with cardio, strength and endurance. You still need to practice and drill to excel at your sport.

 

 

6. Can I do this if I’m an older person?

 

Yes! Older persons usually have no problems doing this routine. If you have very fragile bones your doctor will have the final word on whether you can participate or not. 

 

7. Will the Action Fitness Routine produce pain?

 

No! While you will definitely feel soreness you will also recover quickly. The routine oxygenates your muscles which reduces soreness. However, you should get used to the idea of being sore. When you exercise regularly you will experience a small amount of soreness. 

 

8.  If I miss a planned training will my training be ruined?

 

NO! Should you miss a day, the routine is forgiving. You may shrug it off or exercise an additional day.  It’s Ok to miss an occasional training session. You shouldn't miss any of our training days.

 

9. What kind of resistance is used in the Action Fitness Routine?

 

While the principles can be used with any kind of resistance I prefer using weight training machines. Besides being easily available in most gyms, machines are safer because they tend to keep you in proper form. 

 

10.   Is there a guarantee with your program?

 

No! Trainers don’t offer a guarantee because there are many things that are outside their control. Some trainees have very bad diets or health issues or other undisclosed conditions. Any of these can sabotage the trainer’s best efforts. 

 

What we can say is that the Action Fitness Routine has a great track record. It works well for those who follow it. 

  

11.   Is this routine good for losing weight?

 

The best way to lose weight is by eating healthy. However, muscle burns much more fat than fat does, and it burns fat 24 hours a day. You’ll build muscle on the program which will contribute to your losing weight. 

 

12.   Can I do this routine at home?

 

Yes! I only work at gyms because of the speed with which I can produce results at a

well-equipped gym. 

 

When I travel I use bands to keep myself in shape. They are inexpensive, light weight, take little space in my luggage and I can use them anywhere. My favorite full body routine is with kettle bells and a straight arm pulldown. In 20 minutes I can get a good full-body workout and plenty of cardio too. Many hotels have this equipment. 

 

What you do at home will depend on your space and money. The kettle bell and pull down are very inexpensive and can fit in a very small space. You can also get some pricey and elaborate solutions. 

 

13.   How do I stay motivated on the Action Fitness program?

 

Easy ... Motivation comes from results. The Action Fitness routine works! It works quickly and is safe. Even if you operate on a tight schedule you will be able to find 1 hour 3 times a week. And you’ll be able to get good results.

 

14.   I am 70 years old, Can I do this workout?

 

YES! Your choice is obvious. You can be weak, fragile and susceptible to illness, or you can put on muscle, thicken your bones and fortify your heart and lungs. Because you’re older the benefits may take longer to realize but you can do this routine and benefit greatly from it.   


15.  Are My Results Permanent?


That's Up To You. Your body is designed for movement. While a short break from exercise or healthy eating will not cause you much harm, A long absence deprives your body of fundamental needs of your body. Think about it ... How did you get weak and/or overweight?  You moved little and ate wrongly. 


For us to work together certain things must be true.


1. LOCATION ...

 

You must live in the Houston, Texas area. I work in over 20 gyms in this area. 

If you live in Houston we can work together.   

 

2. SCHEDULE ...

 

You must be committed to 3 days,

    Monday, Wednesday, Friday or

    Tuesday, Thursday and Saturdays. 

I start at 7am and set my appointment every 2 hours till 3pm. 

  We’ll discuss availability. 

  Your program will run for 4 consecutive weeks. 

  Your results depend on keeping to your schedule. 


Once your training is over you can make your own schedule.  Many people choose 3 or 4 days a week but, you can keep from deteriorating with only 2 days of good training.

If I determine your doctor’s approval is necessary for your safety, You must get a doctor’s approval. I have forms for your doctor to fill out.
